Packing the latest 2/3-inch CCD, and advanced 30-bit digital-processing technology into a newly designed, heavy-duty chassis, the DSR-450WSL provides the creative control, picture quality, ruggedness, functionality, and ease of use that the DVCAM format has become famous for.
The DSR-450WSL provides enhanced operational convenience with such features as a swing-out 2.5-inch color LCD monitor, (viewable area, measured diagonally) scene file storage on Memory Stick slot, user assignable function buttons, a built-in 8-pin remote-control connector, and battery-remaining display function. In addition, SDI output and analog composite input are available with the use of optional boards.
The DSR-450WSL features three native 16:9 2/3" Power HAD EX CCDs for shooting in 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios. The DSR 450WSL further offers 24PSF and 30PsF progressive modes, selectable gamma with a film-like gamma setting, and variable shutter for greater creative control.
Features:• Viewfinder and LCD Monitor
The DSR-450WSL has both an LCD screen and a conventional 1.5" black and white ENG style viewfinder. The viewfinder has a small light just to illuminate the focus and iris ring on the lens. (This feature can be switched off.) The tally light viewable in the viewfinder is also switchable from high to low and to off. The 2.5" LCD panel allows the operator to view the scene in color.
• Memory Scene Files
The DSR-450WSL has a slot for accepting Memory Stick data storage medium. The settings of the camcorder including the menu system can be stored and shared with other camcorders thus matching picture looks and functions. The data can also be transmitted via network or even E-mail. Service and software updates can be facilitated in this manner as well.
• Full DSP Functions
The DSR-450WSL has an advanced 30-bit DSP for the most stable and precise images possible. The digital signal processor allows the user to customize picture looks for specific shooting requirements. The TruEye feature keeps contrast levels looking natural even in extreme lighting conditions. Skin Tone Detail can check color and contrast in three parameters for special shooting requirements. The Black Stretch/Compress feature lets the user dial in special high or low contrast looks.
• Interval Record Feature
The DSR-450WSL finally integrates an intervalometer for time lapse photography. The interval record feature allows you to compress long time periods into short video clips. Anyone who has ever seen a flower sprout, grow and bloom in a minute or the entire construction of a house in a very truncated period knows the beauty of the intervalometer.

White Glove Delivery is a special service that is safest for large and overweight items. It is a fully insured both ways service which includes a two man delivery to the room of your choice with your product unpacked and all of the packaging debris removed. This service does not include installation of any type. Delivery includes shipment to the first floor. There will be a $15 per floor charge for any item being delivered to past the first floor. The white glove delivery time is normally between 3 and 10 business days. Our carrier of choice will contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery time. Please inspect your item at the time of delivery. If you notice any damages, please contact our customer service department immediately.
With White Glove Service, you can expect:
