Liebherr WU4000

The 24” wine cabinet allows for two different temperatures, enabling you to store red and white wine according to your preference. Controls are integrated into the insulation layer between the temperature zones, making it possible to set temperatures within the unit between 41° F (5° C) and 68° F (20° C). Because the wine cabinet ventilates through the toe kick, no counter slots are necessary, and the cabinet can be integrated easily and elegantly into the kitchen. The glass door and stainless steel frame make it an attractive addition to any setting. The LED interior light can be dimmed to provide an ambient atmosphere.

After a disappointing experience with some mishandled vino (our fault) we decided to invest in a wine cellar if we were going to continue our vintage collecting. Some were too small, some seemed too cheap, and others felt like giant ipods. We went with the Liebherr for two reasons. It had two separate temperature zones so we can store reds and whites at the right temperature, and the wooden racks which not only hold everything together, but also gives everything a classier and more presentable appearance.
